Just one question, i was wondering why she is wearing her pink dress in the middle of nowhere, it's unusal for her to wear this dress unless she is in a) church or b) special event.

I'll try not to spoil the episode but in it, Marge and Homer wanted to find legal guardians for the kids should something happen to them, so they dressed in their smart clothes to look their best for potential guardians, they couldn't find any in Springfield so went along the beach, still struggled so decided to stop at the beach and thats where this scene picks up and they find two candidates in the next scene.
